Japanese Textile Series
I was inspired by high contrast visuals of antique Japanese textiles. The patterns were obtained by using a low-tech etching process on either a copper fine silver laminated metal or sterling silver with 24K gold accents.

Yellowstone Wood Texture Series
During a hike in Yellowstone National Park, I discovered a fallen tree with incredible designs created by tree worms. I took some 35mm photos of the worm tracks. Using those original photos, I created black and white images of the tree patterns. I then, etched texture plates with the wormy wood designs. I've been embossing these original textures on to my metal in order to acheive my Yellowstone wood texture designs.
